Jennie Mailekini ‘Aunty Jennie’ Keuma
Jennie Mailekini “Aunty Jennie” Keuma, of Hanapepe, Kauai passed away on Sept. 9, 2015, at her home. She was born on Feb. 3, 1925, in Waimea, Kauai.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Keuma, father, George Kahalekomo Sr., mother, Miriam Namakaeha, step father, Kalei Makawelo Kuapahi, brothers, George, Abraham, Gabriel, Rueben, Raymond Kahalekomo and Leialoha Kuapahi; sisters, Rachel Kahalekomo, Primrose Caldeira Machado and her two sons Wilton and Daniel Keuma
Jennie is survived by her daughters, Donna “Manu” (Dennis) Tokuoka and Charlene “Kehau” (Dave) Kerwin and sons, Eldon “Kaulei” (Joyce) Kahalekomo, Dalsay (Verlynn) Keuma, Keenan (Susan) Keuma, Shyronjon “Kainoa” (Healani) Keuma, Frank (Laura) Keuma and Delayne (Glennis) Pai. Jennie had 41 grandchildren, 74 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren, sister-in-laws, Janet Kahalekomo and Arlene Kaupahi; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at Borthwick/Kauai Mortuary in Koloa from 8:30 to 10:15 a.m. where services will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe.
The family suggests casual attire and flowers are welcome.

Michael T. Bonachita Sr.
Michael T. Bonachita Sr. of Hanapepe passed away at Kaiser Permanente on Aug. 17, 2015, at the age of 65. He was born on Oct. 24, 1949, in Waimea and retired after 39 1/2 years as a truck driver with the County of Kauai. He also worked as Security for Secuitas.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Ann Bonachita of Hanapepe; sons, Michael Coleman of Molokai and Michael (Kaulana) T. Bonachita Jr., of Anahola; daughters, Carla Coleman of Anahola, Naomi (Buddy) Taniguchi of Waimea, and Janelle (Joshua) Olores of Kekaha; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Sharlene (Barney) Valdez of California, Kareen Gardner of McBryde, Debra (Ed) Ponting of Kekaha, Bev (Kau) Kauahi of Kekaha, and Jessie (Garret) Barretto of the Big Island; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai, on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. and burial to follow at the Kauai Veteran’s Cemetery in Hanapepe.
The family suggests casual attire and flowers are welcomed.

Gerald Wilder Alaibilla
Gerald Wilder Alaibilla of Kapaa, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015, at the age of 67. He was born in Honolulu, on July 26, 1948. Gerald was a store manager for the Kapaa Big Save Supermarket.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Alaibilla; sons, Gerald Sky (Edna) Alaibilla of Waimea, Kele (Surrey) Alaibilla of Kapaa and Jose Jason Alaibilla of Seattle, Washington; daughter, Pecious (Larry) Garma of Makakilo; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
A celebration of Gerald’s life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at the Kauai Veterans Center in Lihue with visitation at 9 a.m. and services at 10 a.m.

Takeshi ‘Take’ Nanbu
Takeshi “Take” Nanbu of Lihue passed away following a brief illness at the Garden Isle Health Care on July 17, 2015, at the age of 94. He was born in Lihue on July 16, 1921. He was a stevedore at Ahukini pier and retired from Kauai Sugar Storage.
He is survived by his wife, Harumi; sons, Glenn (Jeanne) of Oahu and Irvin of Kauai; two grandchildren; Janeen Nanbu and Nolen Nanbu of Las Vegas and one brother, Minoru (Gladys) Nanbu of Big Island; nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015, at Lihue Hongwanji Mission with visitation from 3:30 p.m. and services beginning at 4 p.m. The family suggests casual attire and graciously declines flowers.

Anita Priscilla L. Ugot Salud
Anita Priscilla L. Ugot Salud passed away on Aug. 28, 2015. Anita was born in Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on Jan. 16, 1951.
She was predeceased by her husband, Luciano Salud, step-daughter, Lucy Salud-Kam and her eldest brother, Hipolito Ugot.
Anita will forever be remembered by her siblings, Juanito Ugot, Leticia Salud, Rizalina Fabi, Esther Calida, Veronica Ugot, Arnolfa Ugot and Thelly Hernandez; beloved nieces and nephews; treasured grandchildren; step-daughter, JoAnn Salud and step-son, Romeo Salud and step-grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service, burial and reception to follow. Visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, at Valley of the Temples Chapel, with service to begin at 10:30 a.m., with burial to follow 1 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. A reception will be held after burial from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the Valley of the Temples Chapel Lanai.
