Matias Arizo
Matias Arizo of Puhi, Kauai, Hawaii, passed away on Aug. 14, 2015, at his home at the age of 96. He was born on Dec. 31, 1918, in Laoag, Philippines. Matias was a carpenter for Grove Farm.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalina “Rose” Arizo of Puhi; sons, Darryl (Patricia) Arizo of Oahu, Richard Arizo of Puhi and Norman Arizo of Hanapepe; daughters, Sharon (Larry) Duque of Lihue, Lois (Robert) Silverman of Wailua, Carla (Tony Hulette) Arizo of Los Angeles; son, Eugenio Arizo, Big Island; daughters, Erlinda (Ronald) Mauricio of the Big Island, Leticia Abalos of Big Island; sister, Felicidad Pastor of the Philippines; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
