POIPU — Sheraton Kauai Resort’s charity fundraising program, Table 53, will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Hawaii in September.
The resort will donate its net proceeds for food and beverage at Table 53 in the oceanfront RumFire Poipu Beach restaurant during its month-long fundraiser. Over $110,000 has been raised through the Table 53 program since its inception in October 2012.
MDA Hawaii helps over 350 local families affected by neuromuscular diseases, including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The nonprofit provides medical care and social services to patients registered with MDA at clinics on Oahu, Maui, Kauai and Hawaii Island.
