McDonald’s Restaurants of Hawaii donated $500 for every touchdown made by the UH Rainbow Warriors. With 31 touchdowns scored, the grand total raised was $15,500, which will go to the University of Hawaii Foundation–Na Koa Booster Club in support of the Rainbow Warriors Football program. The Rainbow Warriors scored the most touchdowns in games against the Wyoming Cowboys and UNLV Rebels.
“We are proud to partner with the University of Hawaii Athletics Department to support our Rainbow Warriors,” said Victor Lim, McDonald’s Restaurants of Hawaii owner/operator.
The football team started its fall camp Wednesday and will play the season opener Sept. 3 at Aloha Stadium against Colorado.
