Nawiliwili film on LBA agenda

The film, “Nawiliwili: Past, Present, Future” will be on the agenda of the Lihue Business Association’s Thursday morning meeting at Duke’s Canoe Club.

Nawiliwili’s history, vitality and the efforts underway to improve and assure its long-term health — including restoration work at Huleia — are the subject of the film produced by Serge Marcil of 4D Media and coordinated by Hale Opio’s Kat Ho, with assistance from island students and others.

Segments of the film will be shown and there will be discussion on how it was made.

The meeting, which is from 7:30 to 9 a.m., is free and open to the public.
