Happy Camper for May 25, 2015

Kudos to Caroline Manera Texeira and Chantal Zarbaugh on pulling everything together for the Kauai Chamber of Commerce scholarship golf tournament. Randy Francisco, former president and CEO of the Chamber, is now with the county, but showed up with Santa (aka Phil Worwa) to help out at the Poipu Bay Golf Course Saturday.

Santa will be presiding over the wedding of Cherlyn Wishart of Ohio today. Cherlyn is a good friend of Lisa Ellen Smith who pulled that ceremony together.

Sandi Kato-Klutke said she was up at 3:30 Saturday morning to make the Spam musubi for the golf tournament, and zipped off for breakfast at Joe’s on the Green before showing up at the Kauai Community Market (Liz Hahn has more fish being judged in California).

Chris Kauwe’s Honi Honi Honey bees must have had too much holiday because they had x eyes instead of their normal happy eyes. Chris said it’s another reason to go find a grant to figure out how their happy eyes turned.
