LIHUE – As part of an ongoing community outreach effort, Kauai Police Chief Darryl D. Perry and the Kauai Police Department will host a series of community outreach meetings.
Each meeting will include a presentation on the department’s budget, accreditation process, body-worn cameras, and islandwide crime trends. Following the presentations, attendees will have a chance to ask questions and share feedback.
“Maintaining an open dialogue with the community is one of our department’s highest priorities,” stated Chief Perry. “Public meetings create an additional opportunity for us to be transparent, and better understand the needs and concerns of the people we serve.”
