Happy Camper for May 8, 2015

Waimea softball coach Teddy Perreira (congratulations on the KIF title win!) said he coached some of the many softball alumni who turned out (the crowd was huge!) Tuesday during the playoff match at Isenberg Park.

Good luck to coach Elena Kealoha and her Red Raider squad in the play-in game starting at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Lynn Muramoto had her “Happy School” puppy helping in the Family Flower Farms tent at the Kauai Museum leading up to Mother’s Day (Patsy Whalley and Millie Hughes Fulford found their selections early), and Sato (Gerald Muramoto said he does all the deliveries) insisted on a “Cover Shot” for Gerald among the flowers.

Who was that hostess from the Big Island who was cruising the aisles with a tray of candies (and broken flowers)? Lynn said they’ll be open until Mother’s Day night.

OK, time to go check out Alan Hiranaka and Hui Alu at the Okinawa Festival (it only comes every two years) and get the food before it runs out at the Kauai Veterans Center.
