The Alexander Day Spa and Salon located in the Kauai Marriott in Lihue recently held the grand re-opening of their hair and nail salon.
“We were closed while the major renovation took place and we’re excited to start 2015 with a fresh new look,” said Les Jacinto, general manager of the Spa and Salon.
With the help of Kauai interior designer, Susan Kubecka of SWK Designs and Randy Keller of Keller Construction, the work was completed in mid-December.
“Our goal was to open up the space and give the salon a fresh, clean modern appearance while implementing the ideas presented by Alexander the owner of the Day Spa & Salon,” commented Susan.
Part of the renovation included adding a Wedding Room where brides and their bridal parties can get dressed and prepare for their “big day.” The Alexander Salon is well-known for the many brides who have been taken care of on Kauai during its nearly 17 years at Marriott.
“Now we can accommodate brides who need a place to get dressed in a comfortable private setting. It’s the most exciting part of the renovation,” said Meredith Freidman, assistant manager.
The Alexander Day Spa and Salon a full service facility was established in May 1998. They are open daily 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
