Hikers airlifted from Kalalau
HANAKAPIAI – The Kauai Fire Department airlifted 32 stranded hikers from the Kalalau Valley Wednesday evening after rising waters made the Hanakapiai Stream impassable. A hiker who crossed the stream and made it back to the trailhead about 5 p.m.
