Happy Camper for March 22, 2015

Ray Domingo was having fun with his sister Loretta Domingo King Friday when the food court at Kukui Grove was filled with fans of music, including Steven Fujii and Gene Rayno, performed by The Starlighters. Fely and Baco Fernandez came late and had to settle for the back row seats.

Melissa Morinishi of Honolulu came down to listen to her dad, Ron Morinishi of California, play with band. For those who wondered about the “prom couple,” Stephanie Ano said they were modeling prom fashions (and distributing coupons).

Aida Cruz said she still has tickets for the Kauai Veterans Museum fundraiser from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Kauai Veterans Center that will feature The Starlighters.

Kudos to Jeni Hardy and her quilters ohana on a great Kauai Quilt Show at the KSA gallery at Kukui Grove! Eve Solomon even had an opportunity to check out the Meet the Quilters reception Friday night. The show continues through March 29, and is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and until 8 p.m. Friday.
