Ono Pops made from Hanapepe oranges? Greg Askew said the certified kitchen is finally done (thank you, The Right Slice) and he and Candace Boxer made their first appearance at The Kauai Community Market on Saturday.
Elvrine Chow was busy collecting her flowers from Cynthia Chiang (Kunana Dairy grows some pretty nice flowers, too), and Liz Hahn got to meet Luke’s mom (Luke is the Kauai Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year finalist).
Kudos to Jane Gray and her Kauai Museum staff (Lani Kaui was busy doing docent duty), and Wini Smith of Ahahui Kiwila Hawaii O Moikeha on the great Prince Jonah Kuhio program … James Yamamoto was busy getting ready for the whale and monk seal presentations.
Koko Kanealii said presale tickets for the North Shore Lions Club Pancakes and Hula (Naomi Yokotake and Hula Halau O Hanalei will be there) are on sale for the breakfast at Hanalei Elementary School cafeteria on April 12 starting at 7:30 a.m.
