Eight young golfers from Kauai will be among the field teeing off for the 2015 Junior Tour Series for 14 and Under Saturday at the Puakea Golf Course.
The tournament, hosted by the Hawaii State Junior Golf Association, is the first tournament of the season and will feature golfers from Kauai, Oahu, the Big Island, and Maui in a 36-hole competition.
The golfers will play18 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday.
Carson Minsu Oyama, Kade Kikuchi, and Ryan Chang Jr., all of Lihue, will be competing in the Boys 7-10 division, playing a par 72 over 4,415 yards.
Luke de la Pena of Kalaheo, Niki Slater Upson of Princeville, and E. Steele Parker of Kalaheo are among the field of the boys 11-12 division, who will play a par 72 over 6,027 yards.
Christian Ganir of Kapaa, Braeden Yokoyama of Lawai, and Kanoa and Kamden Nii of Lihue are in the field of the boys 13-14 division, who will play a par 72 over 6,398 yards.
No Kauai girls entered the two girls divisions.
