The Kauai Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation will hold its annual membership meeting and executive committee elections on Tuesday, March 10 at 5:30 p.m. at Cafe Coco in Wailua.
Surfrider is a coastal environmental grassroots organization started 30 years ago in California and founded here on Kauai eight years ago. Kauai Surfrider conducts regular beach cleanups, net patrols, tests streams and ocean areas for pollution and pesticides and is involved in environmental legislation and education.
The annual membership meeting is a time for members to meet one another, hear accomplishments of the past year and contribute to future work of the organization.
