The East Kauai Lions Club also has its annual pancake breakfast coming up March 1 from 6:30 to 10 a.m. at the Elsie Wilcox Elementary School cafeteria, said Janice Bond (she’s getting excited about attending the Tulsi Gabbard event in Washington, D.C.) who was busy helping clean the used eyeglasses for shipment to the Philippines.
Ahead of that, Chef Martina Hilldorfer (she was busy with Kui Souza of the Waimea High School Culinary Arts Academy and the Trades meeting on Friday) said the American Culinary Federation has its annual fundraising breakfast Feb. 15 at the Kauai CC cafeteria … are they having the used book and the art sale as well?
Harvey Kinoshita (he and his wife will be doing the miso soup at the breakfast) left the Go For Broke exhibit and came straight to the eyeglass cleaning.
Hope everyone has a great NFL Super Sunday!
