Happy Camper for Friday, January 30, 2015

Happy birthday to Laurie Brazil, who is visiting from Lake Tahoe! Laurie was part of the group of artists working with Kathy Kovala and her painting class at the Smith’s Tropical Paradise Wednesday.

Kathy is back for her annual visit and is looking forward to working with Mark Jeffers and the Storybook Theater during the Garden Island Orchid Society spring orchid show.

Kimberlee Kain is the secretary for GIOS and was one of Kathy’s first students when she started coming here about 10 years ago.

OK, today is the last day of the Go for Broke exhibit, said Judi Murakami and Susan Honjiyo. People have an opportunity to visit the free exhibit until 8 p.m. before it gets disassembled and shipped to Oahu.

Good job to Harvey Kinoshita in putting the show together and assembling the great volunteer crew of hosts and hostesses!
