KALAHEO — The National Tropical Botanical Garden is accepting applications for its 2015 Environmental Journalism course. The five-day intensive program (May 4-8) is designed for journalists working in broadcast, print and online media.
The course will provide deep background in tropical ecology, earth sciences and conservation, and is intended to enhance informed, accurate reporting on environmental issues.
Over the course of five days, students will interact with and learn from NTBG faculty and outside experts. Topics of study and discussion include biology, botany and tropical horticulture.
