Amado Aguinaldo

Amado Aguinaldo of Eleele, Kauai passed away on December 18, 2014 at Queens Medical Center at the age of 81. He was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator.

He is preceded in death by his wife Leonida Aguinaldo and his parents Juan and Generosa Aguinaldo.

He is survived by his 5 sons: Stephen (Debra) Aguinaldo, Shelley (Tita Anne) Aguinaldo, Perry (Monica) Aguinaldo, Darrell (Marites) Aguinaldo, Sidney (Teresa) Aguinaldo, Caregiver: Sheila Rita, 11 grandchildren and 6 Great-grandchildren. Sisters: Mariana (Benny) Villatora, Carol (Nelson) Rita, Julia (Andy) Tambua, Brothers: Ernest Aguinaldo, Fausto (Rose) Aguinaldo

Domingo Aguinaldo, Brother-in-law: Maze (Nate) DeFabian, Sister-in-laws: Nora Carveiro, Patsy Reyes, Laurie Garania and Benang DeFabian, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends may visit with the family on Firday January 9, 2015 at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 9:00 am where memorial services will be celebrated at 10:00 am.

Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.

Mabel Nakamura

Mabel Kazuko Nakamura of Hilo, Hawaii passed away on December 29, 2014 at her residence at the age of 84. She was born in Honolulu, Oahu on April 4, 1930. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Nakamura of Hilo; 2 daughters, Joy (Curtis) Kimura of Waimea, Kauai, Liann (Terence Yagihara) Ching of Hilo; son, Barry Nakamura of Los Angeles, California; daughter-in-law Patsy Nakamura of Pasadena, California; sister, Jo Okumoto of Honolulu, 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Private services were held.

Arrangements were handled by Dodo Mortuary, Inc.
