KPD officers Isaiah Sarsona and Josh Leines (they even let him wear his Santa hat) were surprised Isaiah’s shopper had change left over and he could buy something to drink on Monday.
Kudos to Jarrett Chytka and the Big Kmart staff and Kauai Police Chief Darryl Perry and his KPD ohana on a great program, and kudos to the angel and her staff of helpers for making it even better.
Jarrett’s crew was hit twice Monday because Luis Soltren had his Christmas party for needy children scheduled for the afternoon following lunch at McDonald’s in Kukui Grove and a movie at the Kukui Grove Cinema.
Kudos to Penny Ono, Steve Davis (mahalo for the bottle of water, too!), and all the planners of the Waimea Lighted Parade — they even had a drone buzzing the County of Kauai walkers who were joined by Santa and Kylie Colan.
Jason Fujinaka and Rick Rasay were set up at the Ishihara Market prime seating area and BB Choi led The Blond Boys to a great post-parade performance … never even saw Sally Cravens, who said they were across Wrangler’s.
Merry Christmas, Kauai! Hope Santa stops at your place.
