Alan Van Zee took a break from his juicers at the Kauai Community Market to offer some music from the pipe organ at All Saints’ Episcopal Church and Preschool on Sunday.
Alan’s efforts at fundraising for the feat headed by Morris Wise (he’s another Kauai Community Market regular) was helped by his “Friends,” including Kauai Voices (wasn’t that Peggy Lake sitting in the second row?), Juno Apalla (Marge Akana was surprised to discover the talent of her Zonta sister, and Sally Cravens said Juno did really well on her solo number), Larry McCreery, Victoria Aiu, and more.
OK, Saturday is the big craft fair (more than 70 vendors?) on the church grounds starting at 9 a.m. to help Ke Akua Youth Group.
Ed Kawamura is already starting work on the M. Kawamura Farm Enterprise float for the Rotary Club of Kauai Lights on Rice parade (Geico calls it the “street parade”) coming up Friday (it’s also the deadline for comments on Rice Street improvements) in Lihue.
