Happy birthday to Arleen Yoshimori, who celebrated her birthday Tuesday, a day after the College and Career Fair where she was working at the Kauai Marriott Resort and Beach Club.
More birthday wishes to Michael Dahilig who celebrated his special day with a glass of Rice Street Rye, introduced in conjunction with the unveiling of the Rice Street plans at the Kauai Beer Company.
Michael also got to treat guests to a performance on his violin (put it back in the car, Marie Williams, he kept saying), and Larry Feinstein (he walks to the post office every day) said they also re-released the popular chocolate, bourbon barrel porter, Kokobopo for the holidays.
And since the unveiling involved a walk (there’s the Turkey Trot coming up, Thanksgiving in Kapaa, said Brian Curl), Bev Brody was at the head of the line along with Lyle Tabata, who had his safety vest on.
OK, time to check out Marynel Valenzuela (she’s trying to do a parklet near Inkspot) and the Hawaii Fashion Month fashion show at Kukui Grove Center.
