Enough with the cartoons bashing Republicans

TEA: That’s Enough Already! The cartoon by Roger in Saturdays paper again mocks and disparages Republicans as evil doers throwing women, the middle class, the poor, and minorities off a cliff.

TGI is supposed to present news so that we, the readers, can learn facts and think for ourselves and make good decisions. Roger is consistently using his cartoon to belittle the Republican Party with no counter by the paper to even out opinion. What Roger and the left are angry about is that the people have finally figured out that the Obama hope for change is not what they thought it would be and they spoke up with the vote. Thank God the people of this country have awakened and are moving in the right direction.

School play was outstanding

Kudos to the fifth grade class at Island School for their excellent performances in last weekend’s production of “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.” The students did an amazing job memorizing their lines and getting into character. Thank you, too, to the crew behind the scenes, to all the volunteers and to the parents. It was a major effort to bring the play to the stage and their hard work is much appreciated. Congratulations on a job well done!
