Kealia parking lot closed for repairs beginning Monday

KEALIA – County officials announced that repairs to the Kealia Beach parking lot will begin on Monday.

The project will be done in phases to allow the public access to the areas of the parking lot that are not being worked on.

Initially, the repair work will occur in the middle of the 58,000-square-foot parking lot, while the later phases will take place on the sides.

Completion of the project is expected by year’s end, weather permitting.

The project is a collaborative effort between the Department of Public Works and the Department of Parks and Recreation.
