Red Raiders lose to Saint Francis 3-0

HONOLULU — Kauai High School’s varsity girls volleyball team lost to Saint Francis School of the Interscholastic League of Honolulu 3-0 on Wednesday in the opening round of New City Nissan Girls Volleyball Championships — Division II tournament.

The Saints beat the Red Raiders, 25-17, 25-17 and 25-11.

Senior Jondee Rivera and junior Adrienne Graycochea each had four kills, and senior libero Tahra Kaui had 16 digs in the Red Raiders effort.

Kauai’s next opponent in the consolation bracket has yet to be determined. Updates to follow.
