Crispinisdello De Vera
Crispinisdello “Crispin” Orlanda De Vera of Wailua Houselots passed away at home on November 2, 2014, at the age of 84. He was born on April 14, 1930, in Bani, Pangasinan, Philippines and retired as an Laborer at Guava Kai Plantation in Kilauea.
He is survived by his sisters, Merly Cruz of Wailua Houselots and Perlina De Vera of the Philippines; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, November 7, 2014, at Immaculate Conception Church in Kapaia with visitation from 8:00 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.

Stella Mission
Stella Sylvia Mission of Makaweli died on October 16, 2014 at home at the age of 74. Born to George and Bertha Simao on October 19, 1939, in Makaweli, Kauai, she was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her brother Dennis (Edna) Simao and brother-in-law Samuel Sr. Calves.
She is survived by her husband, Francisco Mission; two sons, Francis “Bully” (Laura) Mission Sr., and Clifford (Norma) Mission; three daughters, Dawn (Rudy) Bagain, Sylvia (Gerard) Lagazo and Lisatte (Tony) Pajela, all of Kauai; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brother George (Margaret) Simao of Ele’ele; sister Patricia Calves of Puhi; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on November 15, 2014 at Garden Island Mortuary. Visitation will be at 9AM with services to follow at 11AM. Causual attire is suggested and to please omit flowers.

Lester Goo
Lester Yuk Waa Goo of Kapaa passed away in Wilcox Memorial Hospital on October 15, 2014, at the age of 66. He was born in Lihue, Kauai on November 9, 1947 and was a waterman.
Preceded in death by his father, Edward Waa Yin Goo.
He is survived by his son, Edward Carl Kaikea Goo; daughters, Alana (Mark) Frazier, Dr. Kaimana (Landon Rahtz) Goo DMD; mother, Elsie Mew Lung Goo; sister, Sylvia Gibboney; brothers, Bernard (Charlene) Goo and Roland (Lynette) Goo; one granddaughter; former wife, Gretchen Goo; numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2014, at Anini Beach by the boat ramp from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with services beginning at 11 a.m. Family requests no flowers.

Patricia Smith Rice of Kipu, Kauai, Hawaii Passed away on October 29, 2014 at her home at the age of 102. Born on January 19, 1912 in Brush, Colorado. She was the president of William Hyde Rice, Ltd. and a Rancher.
Preceded in death by her parents, Anders & Mary Smith, husband, Charles Rice.
She is survived by her son, Robin (Anna) Rice, Lihue, numerous nieces & nephews, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday November 12, 2014 at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel, Koloa. Service at 10:00 AM.
