Happy Camper for Oct. 27, 2014

Maile Lewis definitely is the epitome of an executive assistant as she took over the charity walk funds distribution after David Sosner was tied up with a meeting (must have been the same one Christina Gabriel was at because she never misses charity walk events).

She’s been doing that for the entire 2014 campaign and was congratulated for her work by Glen Takenouchi, Jay Furfaro (he’s got some nice historic anecdotes on this 36-year-old event), and Sandy Kato-Klutke (she was worried about the pumpkin distribution at the Kauai Community Market Saturday).

Ellen Ching of the Easter Seals said she’s got some pumpkins (is Steve Davis delivering again?) coming today in time for Halloween, and Susan Tai Kaneko said Syngenta Seeds is hosting a Halloween event for their employees’ families.

Kudos to Denise Wardlow (she said they’re trying to figure out how to not make Dr. Monty Downs miss the jazz and wine festival which raised more than $25,000 for the lifeguard association), and all the other leaders of the charity walk!
