Congratulations to James Saladin, store manager of The Sports Authority in Kukui Grove, who will be celebrating his wedding this week.
James was at the Ultimate Hawaiian Trail Run hosted by Poipu Crossfit (kudos to Aaron Hoff, Jaime Pacheco, Bertram Almeida and all the workers on a great event) Sunday in Omao.
Congratulations to all the participants on enduring the course. Kelsey Likes and Randi Rowland of Seattle and Kelsey Lamont of Portland had Seattle Seahawks jerseys on and beat the course while the 120-degree weather in San Diego didn’t help their team.
Mahalo to Sherri Agosto (she rules the press box!) for all the help with the Pop Warner games. Commissioner Teddy Arroyo is looking forward to Saturday when Kauai gets to enjoy another night game (the fledging season started Sept. 15).
OK, time to head out to the Kaumakani Neighborhood Center (half moons at Aloha Sweet Delites) for the KIF air rifle match.
