Dominga Arellano

Dominga “Donnie” (Tabalno) Arellano of Eva Beach, Hawaii, passed away on August 10, 2014 at the age of 71. Born on July 29, 1943 in Paraduan Norte, Aparri, Cagayan, Philippines she was a Graduate of Kauai High School Class of 1962.

She is survived by her husband, Ignacio “Iggie” B. Arellano Jr.; son, Brent (Elvie) Arellano; daughters, Ingrid (Jim) Fern, Elodie Arellano, Janae (Bill) Akiona, Heidi (Kevin) Kama; brothers, Roman (Celestina) Tabalno, Vince Tabalno, Henry (Louise) Tabalno, Ismael (Victoria) Tabalno; sisters, Maria Baltazar, Marcelina Bumacod, 20 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, September 9, 2014, 5:30 p.m. at the Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Wake Service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation also on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 8:30 a.m. at the Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel, Funeral Service at 9:30 a.m. Burial at 11:00 a.m. at the Mililani Memorial Park. Aloha attire is suggested.

Arrangements are being handled by Mililani Memorial Park & Mortuary.

Don Mahi Sr.

Don William Mahi Sr. of Anahola, Kauai, passed away on July 31, 2014 at the age of 64. Born on July 13, 1950 he was a Landscape Farmer at Mahinani’s Farm.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Prince Mahi; daughters, Kanoelani (Kai) Garcia, Maila Mahi Keale; son, Don (Candace) Mahi Jr., brother, Henry Mahi III, sisters, Gail Mahi Browne and Rose Mahi Low and 6 grandchildren.

Private services was held.
