Kamalu project resumes today

WAILUA – Department of Public Works officials said that the Kamalu Road culvert project will resume today.

Motorists are advised that one lane closures will be made on an as needed basis to allow the contractor to complete the remaining work.

The project, which began in June, is expected to be completed at the end of this month.

The scope of work includes the removal of the existing metal culvert, installation of two 24-inch high density polyethylene pipes and guardrails and construction of concrete retaining walls.
