Blood drive starts Wednesday

It’s not too late to save.

Anyone looking to donate blood to help save lives has a number of options where they can lend their support.

Donors have three options to choose from.

The first blood drive runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall. The second is from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at the same location, followed by a drive from 8:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the Grand Hyatt Kauai — Kauai Ballroom.

Call 848-4770 or visit www.BBH.org to schedule an appointment.

The requirements to be a blood donor are simple: Be in good health, be 18 years of age or older (17 with signed Blood Bank of Hawaii consent form) and weigh 110 pounds or more.

Also, bring a valid photo ID with date of birth.
