Lyle Ueunten of the Boys & Girls Club, Lihue had his inter-session kids raising awareness on bullying through a sign-waving campaign fronting the Historic County Building.

Lyle said he wants to eventually have a world free of bullying in any form.

Judy Capertina of Haole Girl Croissants du jour (she just set up using the kitchen for her croissants) was checking out the crowd gathered at the Kauai Beer Co. for the Food Truck Thursday event a few blocks down on Rice Street.

Larry Feinstein is already looking at Chalupa’s, the Green Pig and Kickshaws for this Thursday’s event, which gets underway at 5:30 p.m.

Jon Kobayashi (Waimea hosted the opening KIF swim event) said the school is still accepting applications for its head football coaching job through Jan. 13.

Finally, John and Daphne McClure are excited about their first ever Molo Bars after about four years of effort. Check out the Kauai chocolate at the Kauai Community Market on Saturdays.
