A new AARP smart driver course is coming up.
The course will refresh driving skills and offer a reminder of the rules of the road. Participants will learn research-based strategies to help them stay safe behind the wheel.
Taught by trained AARP volunteers, the new course includes discussions of changes as people age and how it affects their driving.
The four-hour course includes manuals and videos.
It is scheduled monthly: second Saturday (8 a.m.) Lihue Neighborhood Center, third Wednesday (8:30 a.m.) Hanapepe United Church, fourth Tuesday (1 p.m.) Kapaa Neighborhood Center.
Cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members.
