Violet Hee
Violet Charlotte Lee Hee, of Lihue passed away at her home on October 4, 2013, at the age of 97. She was born on Oahu on March 25, 1916. She retired from a long career in education having taught at Hanamaulu School and Waimea High School, then serving as an educational officer at the Department of Education’s District Office in Lihue.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hong Min Hee, brothers Dr. Alexander (Vivian) Lee, Henry (Clara) Lee and grandson Rick L. Demaris. Shortly after her death, her sister, Mable (Kaipo) Cornwell of Honolulu passed away.
She is survived by her three sons Stephen M. (Arlene) Hee of Brush Prairie, WA, Bob A. Hee of Waimea, Kauai and Randall J. (Nancy) of Kekaha, Kauai; three grandchildren Malia (Brian Flannery) Hee of Corvallis, OR, Noelani (Jeffery) Schille of Vancouver, WA and Puanani Hee of Kekaha, Kauai; 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lihue with visitation from 8 to 9:30 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens. Aloha attire.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family suggests donations be made to Catholic Charities Hawaii, Kauai Community College (UHF Kauai CC) or Delta Kappa Gamma Eta Chapter. Please memo donations “In Memory of Violet Hee.”
Elizabeth Bukoski
Elizabeth Kalehuamakanoe Bukoski of Koloa, Kauai, Hawaii. She passed peacefully at her home on October 25, 2013, at the age of 91. She was born in Waimea, Kauai on December 31, 1921.
She was preceded in death by husband, Frank Bukoski; daughter, Rosemary Bukoski; son, Kenneth Bukoski and son in law, Paul Panui.
Survived by sons, Frank (Lynn) Bukoski, Koloa; Samuel (Lola) Bukoski, Koloa; daughters, Elaine Panui, Koloa; Margaret “Peggy” (Dave) McCallum, Hilo; Taddy (Joe) Penzetta, Koloa; Hanai daughter, Ulii Castor, Koloa; 24 grandchildren and 64 great grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, November 11, 2013, at Saint Raphael’s Catholic Church, Koloa; Visitation at 8:45 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Saint Raphael’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family request leis for lei tree.

Orlino Sagucio Antolin of Eleele, Kauai passed away on October 26, 2013, at his home in Eleele, Kauai at the age 77. He was born on April 6, 1936, in the Philippines. He was retired for Olokele Sugar Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Inocencio and Catalina Antolin; siblings, Ederlina; Juanito and Ofelia Antolin; son in law, Garrick Nakaahiki.
He is survived by his wife, Esperanza Antolin; 4) Daughters, Oriente Nakaahiki; Rosaly (Frank) Domenden; Leoni (Allen) Texeira; Imelda (Paul) Delos Reyes; son. Orlino (Ivy) Antolin, Jr.; 3)Brothers, Remi (Tessie) Antolin; Oscar (Nelita) Antolin; Cezar (Adoracion) Antolin; 2)Sisters, Clemencia Calumag; Edna (Robert) Garvida; 10 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Teresita “Tessie” L. Gregg of Kekaha, Kauai, passed away on October 30, 2013, at her home in Kekaha. Born in Magallenes Sorsogon, Philippines, She was a housekeeper.
Preceded in death by her parents, Julio and Severa Longabela. She is survived by her husband, Kirk Gregg, Kekaha; sons, Kerry (Kristen) Gregg, Massachusettes; Kelly Gregg, Oahu; Kyle (Azlinn) Gregg, Oahu; daughters, Teresa (Kainoa) Driver, Waimea; Tamara (Mark) Barros, Waimea; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, numerous brother and sisters in Philippines.
Services to be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Kekaha. Visitation at 1 p.m., Service at 2 p.m..

Kunito Inazu of Kekaha, Kauai passed away on October 28, 2013, at home at the age of 99. He was born on February 19, 1914, in Waimea Kauai. He was an Electrician with Kekaha Sugar Co.
He was preceded in death by his wife Natsue Nitta Inazu.
He is survived by his son, Kei Inazu; daughters, June Inazu Tateishi of San Mateo, CA; Judith (George Schmelzer) Inazu of Kailua, HI, and Jessie Inazu of Honolulu, HI; brother Sadao (Doreen) Inazu of Kekaha; sisters, Tomoe Shimatsu of Kekaha, and Effie Nitta of Waimea; and one grandchild, Ramie Tateishi of San Diego, CA.

Eusebia Macadangdang Steljes of Koloa, Kauai passed away on October 29, 2013 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 83. She was born on October 29, 1930, in Koloa, Kauai. She retired for McBryde Sugar Company.
She is survived by her two sons; Juanito Sambrano, Jr.; Ernesto Sambrano; daughter, Rosita (Tom) DeGroote; two brothers, Emiliano (string) Macadangdang; Flor (Estrella) Macadangdang; 12) Grandchildren and 11) Great Grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and Friends.

Farah Raquel-Marie Oligo of Waimea, Kauai, Hawaii passed away at Queen’s Hospital on October 25, 2013, at the age of 36. She was born in Lihue, Kauai on July 22, 1977.
She was preceded in death by father, Faustino Oligo, Jr.; and grandparents; Faustino and Magdalina Oligo, Sr.
She is survived by daughters, Kimiko and Keahi Pilkington; son, Timothy Apilado, Jr.; partner, Timothy Apilado, Sr, his children; Shaleia, Kaysen; Kayde and Kameron; mother, Maria (Demas) Oligo; brother, Dustin Oligo; grandparents; Earl (Eloise) Demas; and numerous uncles, aunties and cousins.

Esteban Suguitan of Lihue, Kauai passed away on November 3, 2013, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age 99. He was born on October 10, 1914, in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines. He was a retired Truck Driver for Lihue Plantation.
He is survived by his son, Paul Suguitan; two daughters, June (Benjamin) Esteban; Marina (Mark) Martinez; 25 Grandchildren; 34 Great Grandchildren; 13 Great Great Grandchildren.

Kiyoko Uyesato Akiyama of Hanapepe Heights passed away on October 28, 2013, at home at the age of 100. She was born on February 12, 1913, in Kohala Hawaii, she was a businesswoman.
She was preceded in death by her husband Haruo Akiyama.
She is survived by her daughters, June (Wally) Shishido of Arizona; Patsy (Frank) Kuwata of California; Amy (Ken) Sagawa of Oahu; and Carol Akiyama of California; son, James (Lynne) Akiyama of California; and ten grandchildren, Stacy (Steve) Yoder; Tess Shishido; Dean F. Kuwata; Kevin R. Kuwata; Terry (Kathy) Sagawa; Robin (John) Jenkins; Jami Akiyama; Sean Akiyama; Ian Akiyama; and Colin Akiyama; and eight great-grandchildren, Lindy Yoder; Danny Yoder; Jacob Mount; Nathan Mount; Christopher Mount; Chase Sagawa; Justin Jenkins; and Spencer Jenkins.

Elaine Isoda of Koloa passed away on October 12, 2013 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 80. Born on July 25, 1933 in Hanamaulu, Kauai. She was a retired secretary for Sears Roebuck.
Preceded in death by her parents, Tadashi “Doc” Iwamoto and Kameyo “Pearl” Iwamoto; and brother Melvin Iwamoto, Sr.
She is survived by her husband Stanley “Blackie” Isoda; son Gordon Isoda of Lihue; daughter Sheila Isoda of Koloa; sister Laureta Kamehiro of Oahu; and a grandson.
