Viora Yamamoto did not know the commotion she created Monday in the Piikoi Building.
Martha Roherty, executive director of the National Association of States United for Aging and Disabilities, Mike Hall, and Sandy Markwood stopped Kealoha Takahashi so they could check out the artwork of Tanner Hubbard, 8, on their way to the airport after a day of meetings.
Kudos to Rev. William Miller and the St. Michael and All Angels Church family on its 50th anniversary. Barbara Gusman was busy with Scott Jenkins, president of the Tournament of Roses Saturday, and still got up early for the anniversary service.
Beau and Justin Furumoto were busy setting out memorabilia pictures for guests to look over, and it was nice to run into Nelson Secretario and Brent Mizutani.
Rev. Jan Rudinoff just came back from France in time for the service, and son Joshua was with the Westin Princeville people Thursday doing the Kauai Lifeguard presentation.
