Happy Camper for Friday, November 1, 2013

Happy birthday to Scott Jeffress, who is working on the North Shore! His wife, Amy Jones, of Austin, Texas, came down to “clean his laundry” because it was his birthday.

She got to vote in the pumpkin-carving contest at the Courtyard by Marriott at Coconut Beach.

Congratulations to Jaye Youn (mahalo for the phone call) and the sales department for winning the overall category. Congrats to Chef Charles Steppe and the culinary crew for his scariest (how did he get those lights on the wire) creation, and congrats to event coordinator Crystal Aguirre and the front desk for its most creative creation.

Debrah Canant Davis needs help this Saturday with the Port Allen Cemetery cleanup. She had a whole crew who braved the bad weather last weekend, and wants to finish the cleanup quickly! They start work at 9 a.m.

On the other end of the island, visit Elvrine Chow, Phyllis Kunimura and the KIDS School bazaar and craft fair along with the Veterans Day parade.
