What factors do you consider when you feed yourself?

If you are like most Americans, two factors are the most important. Researchers from the University of Arizona used a social media site to gather information on what people think about when making most food choices. This study solicited answers from participants ages of 18 to 30.

Cost and convenience are the top reasons for food choices. Dairy and protein also were mentioned as top food categories that people felt were important to consider. This study helps researchers understand what people are looking for in selecting their food and hopefully to make healthy eating choices easier.
