Irenio ‘Reno’ Mendoza Visitacion of Pearl City, Oahu, Hawaii passed away in Aiea on Sept. 27, 2013 at the age of 74. He was born on Oct. 8, 1938 in Waimea, Kauai. He was a retired appliance services technician and Air Force Veteran.
He is survived by wife, Madelene Visitacion; daughter, Lynn Visitacion; brothers, Francisco Visitacion; Alfredo (Lulu) Visitacion; Jaime (Carol) Visitacion and John (Brenda) Visitacion; sisters, Sarah (George) Paiste and Esther (Sonny) Espino; 1 grandchild; 1 great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at Trinity Church Central Oahu, Mililani service at 10 a.m. and lunch to follow service. Burial at 2 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery, Kaneohe, Oahu.
Arrangements are being handled by Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary, Kaneohe, Hawaii.
Leslie Mary Silva
Leslie Mary Silva of Lihue passed away on Oct. 1, 2013 at Garden Island Health Care at the age of 72. Preceded in death by parents Abel A. Silva and Lucille F. Theodore and stepfather William M. Theodore. He was born on Sept. 12, 1941 in Wailuku, Maui, he was a Claims Adjuster with Great American Ins. Co.
He is survived by his son L. Mark (Helen) Silva of Aloha, OR; daughters, Diane (Taylor) Johnson of Sammamish, WA, and Carolyn (Jay) Cook of Gladstone, OR; twin brother Leroy (Sandi) Silva of Colorado Springs, CO; sister, Julie (Steven) Victorino of Lihue, HI; and six grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Lihue from 8 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., followed by burial at Kauai Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.

Eleanor Tomioka
Eleanor Kiyoko Tomioka of Hanapepe, Kauai passed away on Sept. 29, 2013 at Queens Hospital at the age of 82. She was born on April 5, 1931 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was a retired Housekeeper for Rehabilitation Unlimited Kauai.
She is survived by her two sons, Nathan Tomioka of Hanapepe and Stanley Tomioka of Hanapepe; Daughter, Penny (Scott) Daly of Washington; 1 Grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013 at Kalaheo Missionary Church from 9:30 a.m. Services will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial at 12 p.m. at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
