Anthony Obloy
Anthony “Tony” Felix Obloy of Wailua Homesteads passed away at home on Sept. 17, 2013, at the age of 69. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on May 22, 1944, a United States Air Force Veteran and retired as a retail manager from Hardware Hawaii formerly known as Hale Kauai.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Obloy of Wailua Homesteads; son, Ed Page of Kealia; daughter, Kimberly Page of Kealia; one grandson, Gage Farley of Kealia; two sisters, Mary (Joseph) Forte, Marcia Walthers; one brother, Philip Obloy all of San Diego and two nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at his residence from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the Obloy family with arrangements.
Abdel Latif
Abdel “Jimmy” Latif of Kapahi passed away at home on Aug. 6, 2013, at the age of 85. He was born in Egypt on February 8, 1928, and retired as a photo journalist.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Omar Latif and seven siblings.
He is survived by his wife, Solange “Sonia” Levy Latif; three children, Magda (Michael); Mona (Mark) and Magdi “Mike” (Sheree); 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be having a memorial to celebrate his life on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013. For more information please call Michael at 651-2663.
