Stacey Lynn Ventura Girvin of Poipu, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on September 1, 2013 at Wicox Memorial Hospital at the age of 45. She was born on Aug. 2, 1968 in San Jose, California. She was a sales associate at Sweet Bikinis, Poipu.
She is survived by father, Charles “Charlie” (Gail Szczepanski) Ventura, Poipu; mother, Michelle Ventura, California; son, Tyler Girvin, California; daughter, Kylie Girvin, California; brother, Richard (Celesia) Ventura, California; numerous aunties and uncles and nieces and nephews and cousins and friends.
Friends may visit the family on Friday, Sept. 13 at Saint Raphael’s Catholic Church, Koloa Visitation at 8 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Casual attire.

Nodresa Punay Honnet of Lihue, Kauai passed away on Sept. 5, 2013 at her daughters’ home in Kekaha at the age of 79. She was born on Aug 09, 1934 in Mangaoag, Pangasinan Philippines. She was a retired employee of Kauai Beach Club Marriott of Kalapaki (Kauai Beach Resort and Waiohai.)
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eriberto Punay and Cirila Legaspi Mangonon Punay; her 10 siblings, and one surviving siste; Husbands Eduardo Cayabyab, Numeriano Acosta, Raymond Panterila
She is survived by her last husband, Eugene H. Honnet; one daughter, Marie Alma Acosta; 2 sons, Ruben (Dori) Cayabyab; Joseph (Csilla) Cayabyab; her hanai son, Edgar Gutierrez; her hanai daughter, Susan Cayabyab; granddaughter, Amber Maliah Alimboyoguen; great-grandson, Zhaleb Temana Alimboyoguen; her grandchildren, Zanna Alimboyoguen; Cullen Gutierrez; Sofia Cayabyab; Christopher (Kristine) Cayabyab; Ferdinand Cayabyab and Noel Cayabyab, her 3 great-granddaughters; life partner, Charles “Mr. G” Gimby; her neighbors Tracy (Lisa) and Cecelia Carcueva; her numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with family on Friday, Sept.13, 2013 at The Home 8316 Mahiko Place in Kekaha with candlelight vigil from 6 to 9 p.m. and again on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013 at Kaaumakani West Kauai Methodist Church from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Where mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Spread of Ashes by boat to follow at Hanapepe Kauai Veterans Cemetery (Salt Pond).
Arrangements are being handled by her family. Donation of volunteer service, food and drinks are being accepted for both days. Saturday Kauai bus will be available and escorts for safety.
