Flor M. Labuguen
Flor “Flo” M. Labuguen of Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on August 3, 2013 at Garden Island Healthcare at the age of 87. He was born on October 15, 1925 in Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He was retired from the Westin as a groundskeeper, U.S. Army Korean War Veteran.
He was preceded in death by parents, Victor and Juliana Labuguen.
He is survived by wife, Juanita Labuguen, Lihue, Kauai; sons, Moises Labuguen, Lihue, Kauai; Bennett (Ernelle) Labuguen, Mililani, Oahu; Florante Labuguen, Honolulu, Oahu; 5 Grand children:Aaron Labuguen, Janessa Labuguen, Chaslynn Labuguen, Alex Yasay and Bryson Labuguen; 2 Great grand children: Duke Labuguen and Ha’akoa Labuguen, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit the family on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lihue, Family time 8 to 8:30 a.m., Visitation at 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery, Hanapepe.

James Dilwith Jr.
James “Jimmy” “The Crab Man” T. Dilwith Jr., of Kapaa, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on August 5, 2013 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 72. He was born on April 16, 1941 in Waipahu, Oahu. He was a retired Police Lieutenant with the Kauai Police Department in the traffic unit.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Aileen Dilwith Sr.
He is survived by wife, Joyanne Dilwith, Kapaa; sons, Kalani (Tamra) Addington, Kapaa; James (Annette) Dilwith III; Mississippi; daughter, Deborah (James) Walker, Mississippi; hanai daughter, Debbie (Randy) Tandal, Oahu; sisters, Malinda (James) Micus, Oahu; Joan (Arther) Boener, Colorado; Bernadette Dumol, Oahu; Jami Dilwith, Nevada; Michelle (David) Lacerda, Nevada; step sister, Christine Dela Cruz, Oahu; brothers, Dennis (Phyllis) Dilwith, Oahu; Glenn Dilwith, Oahu; Dominic Dilwith, Nevada; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren numerous uncle, nieces and nephews and cousins and friends.
Memorial Service to be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 at Saint Catherine’s Catholic Church, Kapaa, visitation at 10 a.m. and service at 10:50 a.m. Family suggest casual attire.

Yukiko Tsuyama
Yukiko Tsuyama of Waimea passed away on August 7, 2013 at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital at the age of 94. She was born on October 3, 1918 in Kauai. She was a retired Cafeteria Manager with DOE (Kaumakani School).
She was preceded in death by husband Tadao Tsuyama and son Paul Tsuyama.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Roberta Tsuyama of Pueblo Colorado; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, August 23, 2013 at the Waimea Higashi Hongwanji at 10 a.m. Service will start at 11 a.m.

Naomi Noeau
Naomi Kealoha Noeau, of Kawaihae, passed away on July 25 at Kona Community Hospital at the age of 76. She was born August 23, 1936 in Kapaa, Kauai. She was a retired pastry chef for King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel and Mauna Lani Bay Hotel and Bungalows.
She is survived by sons, Miki Noeau, Jr. of Maku’u; Owl (Charlie Ann) Noeau of Keaukaha; Brian (Judy) Noeau of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughters, Debbie (Garrick) Low of Kailua Kona; Gail (Fierry Pung) Noeau of Keaau; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held 8 a.m. Sunday, August 25 at Pu’uhonua O Honaunau back picnic area. Family requests casual attire to be worn. Beach wear and swimming gear optional. For information call (808) 217-6051.

Maria B. Lorenzo of Waimea passed away on July 28, 2013 at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital at the age of 78. She is born on July 2, 1935 in the Philippines. She was a field worker with Global Ag.
She was preceded in death by spouse, Venancio Lorenzo; parents, Florentino (Maura) Barcena; brother, Juanito Barcena.
She is survived by her two daughters, Maura (Leo) Sloan of Las Vegas; and Lucia (Ricky) Kaui of Kapaa; six grandchildren; two step grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous brothers, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Clara Rapozo
Clara Gomes Rapozo of Kapaa passed away at Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital on July 18, 2013, at the age of 91. She was born in Kealia, Kauai on May 17, 1922 and retired from St. Catherine school in Kapaa and Hanalei school as a cafeteria manager.
Preceded in death by her husband Willie M. Rapozo and daughter Veronica.
She is survived by one son, Richard Rapozo of California; three daughters, Linda Pacheco of Oregon, Laure Thacker of Georgia and Kathy Barretto of Kapaa; 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Sisters: Helen Kaui and Jane Windberg; brothers; Joseph Gomes, Stanley Gomes, Allan Avillanoza and Walter Avillanoza.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at St. Catherine Church with visitation from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Kealia Cemetery with her husband.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the Rapozo family with arrangements.
Hilda Torres
Hilda Torres passed away at Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska on October 30, 2012 at the age of 89. She was born on March 8, 1923 in Kealia, Kauai. She worked for the Department of Education for the State of Hawaii as a contract Code-a-phone operator.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elias Torres, Jr; son, David E. Torres, Sr. and grandson Benjamin Paul Wilterding.
She is survived by her son, Bruce E. Torres; daughter-in-law, Kelani P. Torres; daughter, Linda L. Wilterding; grandchildren, Javan K. Torres; Hildie P. Sears; David E. Torres, Jr.; Shannon R. Torres; Elias O. Wilterding; Karen Joy Wilterding; Samuel E. Wilterding; Sarah E. Wilterding and Nathan P. Wilterding; great grandchildren, Javan K. Torres Jr.; and Isaiah Sears and Ted A. Wilterding.
A memorial service will be held at The Garden Island Missionary Baptist Church, on the corner of the Kilauea Road and Oka Street in Kilauea, on Sunday, August 18 at 2 p.m. The family will be spreading the ashes on Monday, August 19, at 1 p.m at Anini Beach. Yoshio Kubota of Waimea passed away on July 31, 2013 at home at the age of 86. He was born on March 30, 1927 in Kekaha, Kauai. He was a retired Mechanic Supervisor with Kekaha Sugar Co.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Kubota.
He is survived by his son, Stace (Cheryl) Kubota of Honolulu; daughters, Rhonda (Kevin) Ching and Corinne (Alan) Lau, both of Honolulu; and six grandchildren.

Maria Yabes Tumbaga passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on August 15, 2013 at her home at the age of 101. She was born on January 23, 1912 in Sinait, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, she was a loving wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel F. Tumbaga
She is survived by her daughters, Carlina (Mariano) Vea and Romula T. Peake, both of Kekaha; sons, Oseas (Aurora) Tumbaga of Garland Texas; Job (Myrna) Tumbaga of Kekaha and Samuel (Mary) Tumbaga of Kekaha; hanai-daughter, Margaret Lacro of Waimea; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Kekaha United Methodist Church from 8:30 to 10 a.m. with funeral service to follow. Burial will follow at the Kekaha Public Cemetery.
