LIHUE — Tickets for the 2013 Battle of the Islands roller derby tournament are now on sale at BOlkauai.brownpaperticket.com.
The Garden Island Renegade Rollerz is hosting a two-day roller derby tournament on Sept. 6 at 6 p.m. and Sept. 7 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Kapaa Inline Hockey Roller Rink.
Tickets are $7 presale and $10 at the door. Children 10 and under are admitted free.
Vanessa Kelley said in an email there will be six teams from the outer islands participating in addition to the GIRR from Kauai.
Volunteers for the tournament are also needed for the tournament. Interested people can contact the GIRR through Facebook.
