LIHUE — Another project that’s part of the Lihue Civic Center master plan is set to begin on Tuesday and is expected to be completed by Aug. 30.
The work will take place along Umi Street on the perimeter of the Historic County Building Park and the Historic County Building Annex.
The scope of work includes: removal of the existing sidewalks; installation of new sidewalks; rebuilding of the stairs on the north side of the Historic County Building Annex; and landscaping.
While the work is underway, three parking spaces along Umi Street will be occupied by construction vehicles and equipment.
