LIHUE — The 2013 Hawaii Doubles Horseshoe Class Play and Championship Tournaments were held Saturday and Sunday in Anahola.

19 teams from Big Island, Oahu and Kauai came together to compete in the tournament, of which the top 10 teams competed in the championship round.

Kauai’s Wendy Martinez and Myrtle Kamoku finished third in the championship round and second in the class A division.

Fellow Kauaians Will Brewer and Ed Constantine finished first in class B, while Danny Denny and Hawk Hawkins won the class C division.

Doubles Class Play

Class A

First place: Linda Taketa (Kona) and Tiffany Ferriera (Kona)

Second place: Wendy Martinez (Kauai) and Myrtle Kamoku (Kauai)

Third place: Katie Lum (Waimanalo) and Lynn Carson (Waimanalo)

Class B

First place: Will Brewer (Kauai) and Ed Constantine (Kauai)

Second place: Reggie Gomes (Kona) and Jimmy Taketa (Kona)

Third place: Cindy Lund (Kauai) and Lopaka Kamoku, Jr. (Kauai)

Class C

First place: Danny Denny (Kauai) and Hawk Hawkins (Kauai), 6-W, 1-L, 16.21%

Second place: Joseph Koko (Kauai) and Ray Loughead (Kauai)

Third place: Howard Kamoku, Sr. (Kauai) and Art Johnson (Kauai)

Doubles Championship

First place: Linda Taketa (Kona) and Tiffany Ferriera (Kona), 9-W, 0-L, 42.09%

Second place: Katie Lum (Waimanalo) and Lynn Carson (Waimanalo)

Third place: Wendy Martinez (Kauai) and Myrtle Kamoku (Kauai)
