KAPAA — People have one night only to enjoy the “World Inner Motion” on June 7 at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall.
Under the direction of Mel Bell-Grey and Kauai Dance Center instructor Jennifer Bell-Grey, World Inner Motion will debut new choreography in its 2013 debut, starting at 5 p.m.
World Inner Motion promotes a message of environmental awareness, states a release from the Kauai Dance Center.
The co-directors take the audience on a journey with classical and modern dance styles portraying nature, industrial development, as well as scenes of compassion, rebirth and celebration.
The performance is described as a one-of-a-kind visual and sound experience that weaves digital technology and fuses ballet, hip-hop, contemporary and lyrical dance.
Jennifer Bell-Grey is a graduate from the Royal Ballet School of London, England. Mel Bell-Grey wrote and original musical score for the production.
Advance tickets are available from Kauai Dance Center students, or at Kauai Music and Sound in Kapaa, the Rainbow Gas and Mini Mart in Wailua, Progressive Expressions in Koloa, Magic Dragon Toy and Art Supply in Princeville, Scotty’s Music in Kalaheo, the Kalaheo Cafe, and at LMR Bread in Waimea.
