HONOLULU — Two Kaua‘i banking officers were promoted to senior leadership positions by First Hawaiian Bank, the bank’s president and CEO Bob Harrison announced Friday.
Brian Yamase was promoted to senior vice president and Kaua‘i region manager. He is now responsible for financial oversight and business development of seven branches on Kaua‘i.
Yamase had served as vice president and Lihu‘e Branch manager. He has 32 years of banking experience and joined the bank in 1981 as a branch manager for First Hawaiian CreditCorp.
The Waimea native has received numerous awards for his volunteerism in the Kaua‘i community, and serves as treasurer for West Kaua‘i Lions and Waimea Betterment Association.
Paul Endo was promoted to vice president and team leader of the Lihu‘e Branch. He is responsible for commercial lending activities and business development.
Endo has served as assistant vice president and business banking officer. He has more than 30 years of banking experience and joined the bank in 1999 as a business banking officer.
Endo also serves as the treasurer for Kaua‘i United Way.
