The boys and girls basketball seasons played out very differently. The girls season saw the Kaua‘i High School Red Raiders dominate from start to finish with an undefeated record and go on to take third place in the state tournament.
The boys season finished with a jostling match between the Red Raiders and Kapa‘a Warriors, both trying to find an offensive edge over the other, but in the end the Warriors came away with the best record and proved to be the team that could hit shots down the stretch.
With each team having won its respective divisions, it was only fitting that the all-star team reflect the
outcome of the KIF season.
