Registration for county’s spring break program is Friday

LIHU‘E —County officials announced that a spring break program for youngsters ages five to 11 will be offered at the Lihu‘e and Kalaheo neighborhood centers. The program runs from March 18 to March 25, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Titled “Kids Who Rock”, the weeklong program will include arts and crafts; dancing; board games; exercise; and weather permitting, outdoor games.

Registration for the program will be held at the Lihu‘e and Kalaheo neighborhood centers this Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  

The cost per child is $20. Enrollment is limited.

Only checks or money orders made payable to the Director of Finance will be accepted.

Parents must provide lunch, a snack and beverages for their children daily.
