The Xi Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society has established the Delta Kappa Gamma – Xi Chapter Scholarship to award one $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior from a high school on Kaua‘i who has an interest in pursuing a teaching career, or a student already enrolled in an accredited teaching program on Kaua‘i.
This scholarship will be awarded in recognition of a student’s academic achievement, active participation in extracurricular activities and demonstrated leadership qualities. The scholarship is for one year and may not be renewed. It may be used at any two or four-year accredited institution of higher learning.
Scholarship applications are available through the counseling departments of Island School, Kaua‘i High School, Kapa‘a High School, Waimea High School plus the financial aid office of Kaua‘i Community College.
Deadline for application submittal is March 4.
