Proposed Waimea Sports Complex Master Plan
The County of Kaua’i and the Kaua’i Planning & Action Alliance are preparing a proposed Master Plan for a Waimea Sports Complex to be located on the site of the Waimea Canyon Park and adjoining Kikiaola lands. The preferred plan is the result of input from the community and the Waimea Sports Center steering committee. The preferred plan includes seven baseball diamonds, a regulation track with football stadium, and a soccer complex. The total acreage for the entire sports complex is 78 acres (13 acres existing Waimea Canyon Park and 65 acres on Kikiaolo lands).
