The Kaua’i Police Department also requests that during the parade, the viewing audience stay off the paved roadway along the parade route to ensure public safety.
For the safety of pedestrians and vendors at the Kaua‘i Museum Christmas Fair, which is scheduled on the same day as the parade, there will be no access through the ‘Eiwa Street entrance behind the museum through noon on Saturday.
A private security company will be monitoring the parking area.
